I attended Lincoln and Nichols with Mike and we were friends growing up just a few blocks from each other. In later years he made it to a couple reunions where we were able to share some good laughs and memories.I fondly remember he was excited about the opportunity to have a picture taken with fellow Lincoln classmates at our 30th reunion.(Jessica, Alice, Russ, Susan, Amy, do you remember this?)He was always good natured, easy going and had a great smile. Mike obtained his PhD in cognitive and behavioral psychology. He was a adjunct Associate Professor with the Department of Psychiatry at Rutgers Medical School. He taught Child Cognitive behavior therapy there. Mike co authored several books on behavior disorders and children. From what I have read he was passionate about his work, loved psychology and cognitive behavior therapy. Mike passed in 2016. Deepest sympathy's to his Friends and Family.

Yeah. I sat near Mike in 7th and 8th grade at Nichols. He was so congenial. And actually, in those days, he didn't seem to me to be academically inclined. How he matured and made such a huge contribution! I was sorry to hear of his passing.
