For the tour and main event, sign-ups will be only through the website; there will be no day-of-event signups at the door, so please sign up now! Payment by credit card through the secure website is preferred. You may also pay by check if payment is received by September 1, 2022.
In order to gather safely, proof of up-to-date CDC approved COVID-19 vaccination and recommended booster will be required for all events. In addition, we will follow all CDC, state, local, and event location guidelines that are in effect at the time. At this time, that includes the wearing of a mask except when eating. As we continue to operate in a fluid environment, requirements are subject to change so be sure to check the website for updates.
Activity Summary:
- Friday night (7-10 PM): Casual Get-Together at Hackney’s
- Saturday (10 AM): Tour of ETHS with lunch in a cafeteria
- Saturday evening (6:30-10:30): The Main Event!
Our reunion weekend will begin Friday night at Hackney's on Lake. Saturday morning there will be a tour at ETHS with lunch in a cafeteria, followed by our evening celebration at the DoubleTree Hilton in Skokie.
Friday at Hackney's will be a casual get-together in the Victoria Room from 7-10 PM. This is a Cash Bar / Order Off the Menu event. It will be a chance to mingle, visit with our classmates, have drinks and maybe order the famous onion brick!
On Saturday morning, starting at 10:00 AM, there will be a tour of ETHS followed by lunch in a cafeteria. There will be a cost of $12 per person. On the tour we will see the auditorium, auto shop, art wing, planetarium, gyms and more. More details will be provided, so please check back!
Our 50th Reunion main event will be Saturday night from 6:30-10:30 in the top floor ballroom at the DoubleTree Hilton in Skokie. The ballroom location is a festive setting featuring panoramic views of the Chicago skyline and the North Shore. This is a non-dinner, cash bar event. Sumptuous hearty hors d'oeuvres and desserts, as well as great music and photo ops, will be provided. The cost will be $100 per person. Payment by credit card through the secure website is preferred. You may also pay by check if payment is received by August 5, 2022. A room block for hotel reservations has been set up for those who want to reserve a room.
