Peter passed away in August 2020. I don't have details, but I believe it was a brain tumor. His parents had a house on Judson Ave, between Lee Street and Greenleaf Street. We met when attending Nichols Junior High. Oh, your name's Eric. My name is Eric too. So we became friends. Locker partners if I remember correctly. (it's foggy).
Later after high school and whatever wanderings we did, Peter (aka Eric) had a store front in Evanston. Maybe on/near Dempster. Then maybe on Custer near Main. Calligraphy. Printing. I don't know how that became his calling, but it stayed with him for the rest of his life.
After Evanston, Peter moved to Galena, Illinois, then later to upper northwest Wisconsin.
