I still think about Harry and his shy, quiet friendship.  What a loss for the world, long ago.

I heard years ago that Harry had died🥺 My memories of Harry are mostly from Lincolnwood Elementary. Somewhere in my house here in Denmark I still have a drawing of a "gazorp" that Harry did for me in grade school. It was his own fantasy figure. I believe he studied dance after high school. One of the kindest people I have ever known.

Harry was one of our large extended group of friends that gathered every daily in the Beardsley Resource Center, Lounge or Cafeteria, and we interacted in core classes daily.   I moved to New York City for a year between under-grad and grad school and was living near the UN on the East Side.   I recall walking across Dag Hammarskjold Plaza one day in the Spring, just before moving to Boston and to my suprise, ran into Harry.   We briefly chatted and I recall he told me was dancing for the Lar Lubovich Dance Company which at the time was a young and highly respected company.    When I returned to NY in the mid-1980s, I don't recall how I found out that he had sadly passed away.

Sorry to hear about Harry. I enjoyed having him as a teammate in gymnastics.

I remember Harry fondly and well. I moved to Evanston at the start of eighth grade. Haven was an intimidating place. Harry was one of the first people I met, the first to say "hi". Harry was obviously very smart, funny as hell, a gentle soul. Our cursory friendship continued throughout our time at ETHS. Oddly enough I ran into Harry, as Gary Paul did, on a street corner in New York City. We grabbed a cup of coffee, had a great conversation for fifteen minutes. Harry was on his way to artistic success in New York dance circles, not an easy road. I'm thankful I had the chance to thank him for making me feel welcome that day many years ago. I heard many years ago he had died. Truly sad as he would have helped make the world a better place.

I just found some old Evanstonians in a box of memorabilia- and here is Harry, among others, in The Serpent. 1971

I remember Harry--he was a super-talented dancer, and a very nice individual.  I remember how he danced in a summer production of the musical OKLAHOMA!, and how wowed them with his dancing in YAMO.  He was also a very talented gymnast.  Taken way too soon. R.I.P. Harry.
